Mother’s Day did not start as a day to remember our mothers but was a call for peace in a world full of war. The story of its origin by Julia Ward Howe is compelling and worth remembering.
The Revs. Jaco and Barbara ten Hove join us from Bellingham, WA where they are retired. They are Emeritus Ministers from Cedars UU Church, Bainbridge Island and longtime friends of Free Church.

John Park has several hundred veggie and flower starts for sale, and of course, there will be Lila beans, our very own heirloom pole beans. There will also be a number of John's bonsai style plants for sale!
All plants are home grown by John Park and all proceeds go to FCU.
